Brad Jones

Brad Jones, a linebacker from Michigan, was plucked out off his Colorado Buffaloes football team by the Green Bay Packers in the 2009 NFL Draft. As a seventh round pick in the draft, Brad Jones is now a starting outside linebacker for the Packers.

Even in his high school years, Brad Jones was a captain and MVP for his East Lansing High School football team. Jones was also a First-team All-State selection and All-state Dream Team performer by the Detroit Free Press. Brad Jones’ many achievements during his high school football career gained him much recognition by the Colorado Buffaloes, who brought him full-heartedly onto the team after graduation.

After being redshirted as a freshman to build his abilities to a college-level, Brad Jones was given the nod to play in every football game until he graduated from Colorado. Over his college career, Jones earned his spot on numerous Bowl game lineups and the Defensive Player of the Year award as a senior. These achievements gained Brad Jones the Packer’s recognition and he hasn’t let them down yet.

Cyril Obiozor has a lot to prove this season

Cyril Obiozor is a Texas A&M graduate and football player recently signed on by the Packers this past year. Obiozor has been a linebacker since he attended high school in his hometown of Pearland, Texas.

When Cyril graduated from Pearland, he signed on with the Texas A&M Aggies football team. With the Aggies, Obiozor was a stand out player and led his team in multiple areas around the field. Cyril Obiozor was a huge contributor to his team, which gained him a high level of recognition with the Green Bay Packers.

In May 2009, Obiozor signed on with the Pack as an undrafted free agent and remained on the team’s practice squad for the first 13 weeks of the 2009 regular season until being moved to the active roster. Obiozor has a lot to prove to him new teammates and will be sure to impress the fans this season.

Newbie Quinn Johnson

Quinn Johnson is a New Orleans native who has been playing at fullback for the Packers since he was drafted out of LSU in the 2009 NFL Draft. As the first player to be recruited off the LSU team since 1962, Quinn Johnson has made his school and family proud. Johnson officially signed on nearly eight months ago, and has already made an impression on the team.

Before becoming a Packer, Quinn Johnson was a fullback powerhouse on the football field with the Louisiana State University Tigers. Johnson is known for his blocking skills, earning him the privilege of playing forty games at LSU with 15 starts. Quinn Johnson is excited for the season to get underway this season, and you should expect to see great things from him and the rest of the Green Bay Packers team!

Brandon Underwood

Brandon Underwood has been the cornerback for the Green Bay Packers since the 2009 NFL Draft. Underwood was plucked fresh off his Cincinnati football team and is the fourth from his college to be picked by the Packers. Originally on the Ohio State college football roster, Underwood’s decision to transfer to Cincinnati may have been the best choice he could have ever made.

The final season with the Cincinnati Bearcats was phenomenal, earning him first-team All-Big East and a lead role on the team in the FedEx Orange Bowl. Underwood was also one of six Cincinnati Bearcats to accept a postseason All-Star invitation this past year.
