Regular Season Game #4: Packers vs. Broncos

When the Packers take on the Denver Broncos this Sunday the key match up to watch is Wide Receiver Greg Jennings going head to head against All-Pro Defensive Back Champ Bailey. Who will get the upper hand? Obviously I think our stud Jennings will, but it will be an intriguing game to watch. Nonetheless, being as the game is being played at Lambeau; tickets will be available for you to buy through Ticket King! But if you can’t make it out, the game will be televised on CBS at 3:15.

James Jones My Feelings for You

James Jones, there was a point in time, where I didn't think you would resign with the Green Bay Packers. I watched ESPN every day and they kept saying that you wanted to be a number 1 or 2 receiver somewhere and I didn't know if that was possible in Green Bay. All I know is that I really, really wanted you back. When I found out you signed with us again. My reaction was like this (replaced nintendo 64 with James Jones)

Here are some pics of James Jones from the Super Bowl.

Straight thuggin' on his way to a catch.

Get off of him William Gay, you're about to lose the Super Bowl you silly goose!

Get a little more excited when we win the next Super Bowl, James.

Remembering Jason Spitz

Jason Spitz signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars during the offseason. I think it is time for us to remember Jason Spitz with a poem.

Just a normal morning
outside is raining
You are not here
my heart is not here
dreamed in your image
thought you ever back
lost you, lost world

Love you Jason Spitz, have fun in Jacksonville with all the pretty ladies.

Marshall Newhouse's New Perspective

Marshall Newhouse has a new perspective for this upcoming season. He went on a mission trip to Haiti during the offseason and he says that it changed everything about the way he thinks about life. Here's what he had to say when asked if it had helped him in football.

"Yeah, absolutely it helps," Newhouse said. "I met some kids over there that I'll have relationships with the rest of my life. Just seeing what they're going through on a daily basis? I was there for a week. They go through it every day."

Newhouse said he plans to go back to Haiti once the season is over, but he just wants to help the Packers for now. Newhouse is one of my favorite players and I'm so glad he had this experience, go Pack go!

Tom Crabtree Hair

Alright everyone, it's clearly time for a classic Tom Crabtree debate. Over the past season, Tom Crabtree fancied two hair styles: one short and one long. To me, the choice is obvious which hairdo he should rock, but to others it might not be. Here are the two hairstyles were dealing with:

Nice effort Tom, but I just don't think this is a very good look for you. Your hair is just too girly for me right now and I don't think you can pull this off. I'm normally all systems go when it comes to this type of hair but I don't see it for Tom.

Wow, what a difference. Tom clearly looks better here because he doesn't look like the girl from Dodgeball who took beaver steroids. He looks like a guy, which is really good for him and something that I think will serve him well during his career in the NFL.

Regular Season Game #3: Packers vs. Bears

Week three is one of our big rivalry games. One of the NFC North’s definitive Black and Blue feuds starts up again for the 2011-2012 regular season when the Packers take on the Chicago Bears this Sunday at 3:15 on Fox. It is an away game, so the Packers need all the support they can get!

Brandon Jackson is a Cleveland Brown

Brandon Jackson signed a contract with the Cleveland Browns. It looks like it is time for us to take the time to remember Brandon and all his glory. Here is a list of Brandon's biggest accomplishments during his time as a Green Bay Packer.

1. Was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2007 draft.

2. Named rookie of the week on December 31st, 2007 for rushing for 113 yards on 20 carries.

3. Named a starter in 2010 after Ryan Grant's season was lost due to injury.

4. Won the Super Bowl with the Packers in 2011!!!!!

Regular Season Game #2: Packers vs. Panthers

In week 2 of the Regular season, the Packers go on the road to take on the lowly Carolina Panthers. The Panthers were the worst team in the league last year, so the Packers should win the game. That being said, in sports anything can happen so the Packers need your support! The game starts at noon on Fox this Sunday!

Korey Hall Signs With Saints

Korey Hall signed a contract with the Saints during the beginning of the free agency period. Here are five things I'm going to miss about Korey.

1. His smile. Nice white teeth.

2. His little comb over. It looks like the one my mom gave my brother every day before school.

3. His effort. He truly played his heart out as a Packer. We wish you the best Korey good luck in New Orleans!

Donald Driver is Still on this Team

That's right folks. Donald Driver is still a member of this team. Just so we can wrap your minds around how old he is and how long he has been on the team, I'm going to tell you what was happening in 1999 when Donald Driver was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 7th round of the 1999 NFL Draft. I was going to do 80 things about 1999 in honor of Driver but I truly don't want to do that.

1. The world was preparing to have a global millennium party.

2. There was an email virus called Melissa that destroyed nearly 1 million computers and caused 80 million dollars in damage.

3. The human population surpassed 6 billion.

4. Myspace became a part of the internet

5. Napster was released.

6. People were beginning to worry about Y2k

7. Friends was the most popular show on tv.

8. The first Matrix was in theaters.

9. Lenny Kravitz was extremely popular.

10. Bill Clinton was president.
