So many choices! I want update my PC with a great Greg Jennings wallpaper and I'm having trouble deciding which option to select.
I like the dappled background of this one and how he pops out front and center in full color. It also catches that magical moment before the ball is cradled in his hands and he bursts past the competition to a touchdown!
This one is a cool look at the celebration after a successful play. I like how he's looking up and flexing.
This one reminds me of all the fun I have at Lambeau Field. I love how the fans are giving Greg Jennings love (though I could do without the #4 jersey on the right!).
I think I'm leaning toward option 1, but thought I'd solicit your feedback before embarking on this potentially life-changing decision. Penny for your thoughts...

AJ Hawks' Style
AJ Hawk works out a lot. And this guy has plenty of athletic gear to get him through even the most grueling training session. He also needs to dress it up from time to time and keeps a few suits on hand to keep things fresh. Here are a few of his get-ups from past events just so you can get a good sense of his style.
Here we have the Hawk-meister in a red and white shirt. Looks like it's made of a sweat-whisking fabric like Coolmaster or Fieldsensor. I'm digging the red elbow bands. Good color co-ordination continues through the use of a white, backwards baseball cap. Hot stuff.
I'm seeing the backward cap trend continuing here. This photo was taken in AJ Hawk's bedroom so he apparently dressed down for the event. Flannel shirts are coming back in style in a major way, so he's ahead of the curve here...or retro...since this picture was taken a few years back.
Last but not least is AJ Hawk dressed up. I really like the silk detail on his coat and the equally silky red tie. Very sharp and classic.
So there you have it. The many sides of AJ Hawk. I think he looks more comfortable dressed down, especially with that long hair and a backwards baseball cap!

Aaron Rodgers Love Life
Back in spring 2009, Aaron Rodgers was seen quite a bit with Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum.
Aaron and Hillary sitting in a tree...
But we also know that in the past he has been romantically linked to others including Julie Henderson, the topic of last year's blog post.
Now here's a new game for you. If you could set-up Aaron Rodgers and another new lady, who would it be? I've proposed three potential matches.
A. Erin Andrews
She's into sports and has a laid-back attitude.
B. Jessica Simpson
Has she dated a qb before? I'm not sure....
C. Betty White
She's nurturing and funny. Could keep A-Rod laughing for at least a year or two to come.

This post is not intended for serious scrutiny. In the event that you are currently dating, engaged to, married to, or stalking Aaron Rodgers, Jessica Simpson, Erin Andrews, or Betty White, no offense intended. Don't taze me, bro.

Ryan Grant Poetry Edition
I'm ready to bust out the verse yet again. It's a new year and a fresh start for poetry here at old hotforthepack!
Now, a haiku.
Ryan Grant runner
Twenty-five is his number
Six-one is his height.
Now, some iambic pentameter.
The green and gold just look so good on him.
Grant is looking lovely on Lambeau Field.
And thus concludes our poetry recitation for the day. Gooooooo Green Bay!
First, an acrostic.

Brady Poppinga's Faith
If you truly want to understand Brady Poppinga, you need to know a bit more about him off the field. And in particular, you should understand his Mormon faith. Now, I'm no Mormon expert, but I've compiled a bit of information between his comments and online faith resources.
Brady Poppinga attended Brigham Young University, which is named for Brigham Young, the former president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The school emphasizes scripture and a strict honor code. Their mission is to "assist individuals in their quest for perfection and eternal life." What an undertaking!
Mormons follow God and Jesus Christ. Their religion was established in the U.S. under the leadership of Joseph Smith. Today estimates are that 13.8 million people in the world adhere to the Mormon faith. Service is also a large part of the Mormon faith and most adherents take two years to help others around the world as part of a service learning goal.
So there you have it! Brady Poppinga's faith in a nutshell! (What a weird figure of speech.)

Let's pretend spend Chad Clifton's money, shall we?
Chad Clifton is locked in with the Green Bay Packers for a couple more years.
In March 2010, Chad Clifton signed on the dotted line with a new Green Bay Packers contract. The basics are these:
- 3 years (that will take us to March 2013)
- #20 million dollars
- $7.5 million guaranteed
Chad Clifton has stated repeatedly that he intends to serve out all three years of the contract, which means he'll be in his upper-30s when the thing (the contract...not the player!) expires.
Seeing those million dollar figures makes me wonder what I would do if I had that kind of cash to spend. Can you imagine how cool that would be????
Here's my list of how I would spend his cash.
* Pay off my mortgage!
* Go on a vacation to New York City. I've always wanted to go there.
* Put in a lot to retirement. I'm conservative with funds. Give me a break!
* Share with my family.
* Buy season tickets to the Green Bay Packers in the best seats possible.

Buckle up, buttercup! Donald Lee internet facts are straight ahead.
Fact 1: Over 500 Donald Lee's are registered on facebook.
Fact 2: Only 3 people like Donald Lee's Green Bay Packers facebook fan page. Sadness!
Fact 3: Apparently there are no results when googling "donald lee is hot." Now I'm just getting depressed.
Fact 4: Donald F. Lee owns a surveying and engineering company in Florida.
Fact 5: Sweet picture of Donald Lee mid-air that you, too, can find online.

Benefactor Charles Woodson
Charles Woodson has a variety of interests, talents, and strengths. Just look through this blog as a rough snapshot of all he's dabbled in. It's a lot, people!
But Charles Woodson will always have a place in my heart for his generous contributions for the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.
In November of 2009, Charles Woodson donated $2 million dollars to the hospital to benefit sick children, research, and development of hospital facilities. There's something about the fact that this is a pediatric care facility that makes it even more sweet that this is the one Charles Woodson picked.
The hospital is slated to open its doors in 2012 and Charles Woodson's gift will help bring top researchers from around the world to work together in the new facility and tackle top medical threats to children's health-- cancer, heart disease, autism, and kidney disease.
That's just the kind of stand-up guy we can look to as a strong member of the Green Bay Packers team. A true role model and inspiration!
