Nick Barnett Hair Poll: Short or Long?

Tell me your thoughts about this Green Bay Packers linebacker. Short or long hair?!

Ryan Pickett's Tackle

I feel a kinship with other loyal Green Bay Packers fans who (like me!) spend their free time photoshopping Green Bay Packers photos into ridiculous situations. I present Exhibit A--a picture that made me laugh--nay, chortle!--aloud when I saw this image of nose tackle Ryan Picket:

I hope this Ryan Pickett photo made your day. Thanks to whomever took the crazy amount of time to make it. I love seeing Green Bay Packers fans' cyber work. Keep it up.

Josh Sitton Packing on the Pounds

I know we're talking about football players here, but come one! Green Bay Packers guard Josh Sitton is walking a fine line between adding on muscle versus just adding on. At 6'3", he's already packed 317 pounds on his frame (though I think it looks like even more). He's also bulked up over the Green Bay Packers' season and looks a little heavier at each game. At what point is it more of a hindrance than a help?

Ryan Grant's Jersey

Fashion dilemma! Which Ryan Grant jersey should I purchase for the next Green Bay Packers game? I'm partial to white, but I can already anticipate stains showing up easier on a white jersey than green.

And since we're on jersey colors, which one do the Green Bay Packers look hotter in? Again, my vote is for white but I'd love to hear your opinions! Leave me a comment!

Smile, Ryan Grant! Or Don't...

What's the deal with pro athletes lacking the ability to smile? After making an amazing dive catch in the outfield, a player will come up with the ball held triumphantly and lips forcibly pulled into either a scowl or neutral face. After a touchdown, a wide receiver might cross himself, spike the ball (gently), or even moon the crowd, but a smile? Forget it.

Green Bay Packers running back Ryan Grant may be one of the best examples of this I-can't-smile-because-I'm-too-tough mentality. Here he is looking tough on a night out on the town.

I'm scared.

Here he is in a laid-back, friendly interview.

Yikes.

And here he is having the time of his life at a fan meet and greet.

Whoa, Ryan Grant. Tone down the enthusiasm.

I don't think he has to go around grinning all the time and he probably wants a stern game face during games, but a smile always softens a face and shows some approachability after the game. Can't he do that occasionally off Lambeau Field? If you're reading this, Ryan Grant, flash me a smile sometime and I'll post it here. I'm sure many Green Bay Packers fans would love to see it!

Meet Green Bay Packer AJ Hawk

Aaron James Hawk – known to all of us Packer Backers as A.J. Hawk is one of those Packer players that desperately need a hair cut. Although I am sure that A.J. believes his power comes from those dirty blonde locks, I think they are a huge turn-off. Then again, I bet A.J. doesn’t care what I think since he is married to Laura Quinn, the beautiful sister of quarterback Brady Quinn PLUS AJ Hawk has his own web site so I doubt he spends much time surfing around the web trying to find out which Packer blogger thinks he needs a haircut or not.

MY SUPER HOT IDEA: Since AJ Hawk is the Special Olympics Wisconsin spokesman I think he should do a fundraising campaign to shave his head!

Fun AJ Hawk Facts
that you could have learned yourself if you would have read his web site

(+) Nicknamed 'A.J.' by his parents after Indy car driver A.J. Foyt

(+) Is a stellar point guard and is thinking about trying out for the Milwaukee Bucks (or not)

(+) Wants to be a cop (for real)

(+) Hit two home runs with the Milwaukee Brewers this season (for real! He threw out the first pitch at a Brewers game in April and they let him take batting practice)

(+) Favorite Movie is Top Gun – I am pretty sure I have heard "Danger Zone" blasting over the Lambeau Field Speakers all for A.J.

MY SUPER HOT IDEA: Next game, I will be making a

“I feel the need for speed”

sign in A.J. Hawks honor.

AJ and Laura Hawk . . . I wonder who uses more hair products?
