Desmond Bishop's Residence

Desmond Bishop calls Vacaville, California home.  I'd never heard to this city so I decided to investigate and find out what sort of place this is.

This state of the art picture makes me want to board a plane to Cali this instant! 

Maps place Vacaville almost exactly halfway between Sacramento and San Francisco, two better known California cities.  Vacaville is just over 90,000 citizens strong.  One of those residents is allegedly Jarrett Bush of the Green Bay Packers.  Do Desmond Bishop and Jarrett Bush crash together?  Mysterious!

Vacaville contains a couple prisons, too, which is something not every city can boast about.  It's a far cry from Green Bay, Wisconsin but for Desmond Bishop it's home sweet home.

Desmond Bishop Doesn't Make it in White House

Poor Desmond Bishop. He didn't make it into the White House when the Green Bay Packers visited in honor of their Super Bowl Championship. He wasn't not allowed in because of his attitude or political affiliations, he wasn't let in because he forgot his id! You know that he couldn't even sleep the night before because he was so excited that he was going to meet the president and get inside the White House, but no! Poor Desmond was rejected and unable to make it inside the White House. I've got really good news for Desmond, he can just go to the White House next time when the Packers win the Super Bowl this season!

Desmond Bishop and Halo

Last year we learned about Desmond Bishop's softer side and writing talents here.

Today I'd like to focus on his more definite masculine interests. For starters, he's in football. Could you get any more manly than that?

But he is also into another mostly man pursuit: video games. Of all his favorites, Halo takes the cake.


If you are unfamiliar with Halo, here's what I can tell you. It is addicting. Ask my cousin who easily logs 6 hours a day in front of the screen.

The graphics are supposedly great and with XBox Live, you can play against and with anyone in the world! I wonder if my cousin and Desmond Bishop ever stumbled across each other in their virtual battles. It could happen.

So there you have it. Desmond Bishop is a writer and a gamer. And that's the yin and yang of this Green Bay Packers linebacker.
