Tom Crabtree's Family

Since focusing on Jordy Nelson's family in the previous post, I wanted to keep up that thread with another look at another Green Bay Packers family.  This time, we've got Tom Crabtree's little family in focus (well...somewhat...it's a screen shot) here.

Tom is married to Chelsea and in this photo they're posing with their adorable little boy, Bryce.  Since this picture was taken, the Crabtree family expanded to welcome in a little girl, Delaynie.

It's refreshing to see these burly NFL guys rush off-field after a big game to find their young wives and little kids/babies.  Brings out a whole new element in their personalities as the game faces are dropped and the smiles start.  Makes me love the Green Bay Packers players that much more.  Go, Pack, go!

Tom Crabtree Hair

Alright everyone, it's clearly time for a classic Tom Crabtree debate. Over the past season, Tom Crabtree fancied two hair styles: one short and one long. To me, the choice is obvious which hairdo he should rock, but to others it might not be. Here are the two hairstyles were dealing with:



Nice effort Tom, but I just don't think this is a very good look for you. Your hair is just too girly for me right now and I don't think you can pull this off. I'm normally all systems go when it comes to this type of hair but I don't see it for Tom.



Wow, what a difference. Tom clearly looks better here because he doesn't look like the girl from Dodgeball who took beaver steroids. He looks like a guy, which is really good for him and something that I think will serve him well during his career in the NFL.

So Tom Crabtree is new to the squad this season. Forget his football skills, though. Let's talk looks!

I have a few pictures of Tom with a couple different hairdos that radically change his persona.

Here we go with Tom clean-cut, bright-eyed, and bushy-tailed. He looks like your run of the mill college kid who is about to enter his first internship. Eager. Ambitious. Excited. Wearing his first real suit. Close shaven and tidy. Probably logs lots of hours in front of the Xbox and has friends name Brian, Andy, and Pat.

Just a guess.

Now take a look at the slightly older version of Tom Crabtree.

This kid has seen some hard times. Anger management issues. Sticks with black Jnco jeans (the wider the better), concert tees for ICP and Tool, and likes to take a drag on a cig now and then with his friends, who are named Dusty, Jared, and Todd.

Which version is most like the true Tom Crabtree? Will he radically transform yet again as his pro career advances?

I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Tom Crabtree

Tom Crabtree is a Miami alum who has recently been taken on by the Green Bay Packers. At Miami, Tom Crabtree was a three-time letter winner at tight end. After being red shirted as a freshman, Crabtree went into his next season with Miami at reserve tight end and special teams contributor playing in all eleven games. The next season, Tom gave the other players a run for their money when he tied for fourth in catches and touchdowns. Tom was determined to improve the next season, which he did while grabbing a few career-bests along the way. Tom was a very valuable and strong player on his Miami football team which gained the attention of the Green Bay Packers.
