Is Aaron Kampman leaving the Packers?

There is a rumor going around that the Chicago Bears are trying to sign Aaron Kampman. Although Aaron Kampman injured his left knee last year and might not be ready to play until training camp the Chicago Bears are still very interested in him. Aaron Kampman is currently a un-restricted free agent. The Chicago Bears want Aaron Kampman to join their defensive line. Aaron Kampman has made 54 career sacks and would be much cheaper to sign then younger prospects. The Green Bay Packers are expected to make the two-time Pro Bowler an offer as well. I would be very sad if Aaron Kampman left the Green Bay Packers because he plays with so much heart and is a big part of the team. How would all of you feel if Aaron Kampman were to leave the Packers for the Bears?

Aaron Kampman has been married to years to his high school sweetheart turned wife Linde. In fact he proposed to hear after leading her on a Bible verse filled scavenger hunt. Shortly after, they started a family and today have three little boys with Biblical names: Lucas (5), Ben (3), and Elijah (1).

This down to earth family is one of the most heavily involved in Green Bay Packers charitable work and make their Christian faith a cornerstone to raising kids and living life. The Packers roster has several hands-on dads on their list, and Aaron Kampman is top among them for being a great role model to his young fans and his little boys.
